Sandeep Bordia

Sandeep Bordia is a distinguished leader in finance and real estate industry with nearly 25 years of international experience spanning the U.S. and Europe. Widely viewed as a thought leader and investment expert, he has authored seminal whitepapers on real estate investment strategies and was invited to testify before the U.S. Senate Banking Committee following the Global Financial Crisis, where he provided expert recommendations on housing finance reform. Sandeep currently serves as Co-Chief Investment Officer and Head of Research at IMMO Capital, a prominent European real estate fintech. In this role, he oversees investment strategies for prominent global investors and drives the development of research-driven insights that inform and enhance their portfolio decisions. From 2016 to 2023, he was Head of Research and Analytics at Amherst, where he directed a high-performing team of researchers and data scientists. During his tenure, the firm built one of the largest single-family rental platforms in the U.S., with Sandeep playing a key role on the executive team and shaping data-driven investment strategies for large institutional investors. Earlier in his career, Sandeep served as Global Head of Structured Products Research at Barclays Capital, where he led research efforts across agency and non-agency MBS, CMBS, ABS, and European ABS markets. He consistently ranked among the top analysts in Institutional Investor Surveys and guided his team to achieve the #1 spot in the prestigious Greenwich Survey. Sandeep graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology and holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management.
